This is how you completely remove Microsoft Office 2011 from your Mac
A self note, a link on how to completely remove Microsoft Office 2011 from your Mac.
Bought the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 two days ago and just installed it on my late 2007 white MacBook.
Simply because I have to run Word of Microsoft Office 2007 to maintain consistent text/page/other document format which I can't get in OpenOffice.org.Don't tell me to buy license for Microsoft Office for Mac. I'd rather insist my staff to use OpenOffice.org instead or let it become inconsistent.
In just a few steps, you too can simplify and de-clutter Mail.app.Excerpt from Unclutterer.com. This is just fantastic! I love the Mail.app in my Mac but never crossed my mind that I can actually simplify the looks of this application.
As I’m sure you know, we generally don’t comment about timelines for releasing specific features or products. But we’ve been quoted a few times saying Chrome for mac should be out by the end of the yearExcerpt from Techcrunch. I've been playing with Chrome several days and impressed with the speed and its clean look. However, the "top site" (what do you call top site of Safari in Chrome?) is not updating its thumbnail like the way of Safari does. And it's quite iritating my eyes.
Chrome sports several features similar to Safari 4 in Snow Leopard, such as sandboxing and "tabs on top" interfaceExcerpt from TUAW. That's the competition inside my Mac: Safari, Firefox, and now Chrome. I love Chrome when working in Windows. But Safari is my best friend when working in Mac. How about you?
There you go. Two minutes to waste, because of that bloated-Vista.
This is my estimation of annual cost for the delay. 2 minutes on daily basis and 300 office and home working days on annual basis, in which 70% of the above hours is charged on rate of $125 per hour and 30% is charged on rate of $325 per hour. This shall equal to $1850 per annum.
Think you can't ditch Vista? Think again!
