when I'm exhilarated and mobile

I love my country, Indonesia, because she's not perfect

I know that she's not perfect because she's giving me chances to give her the best of me.

She's not perfect because she wants me to be a better person for a better Indonesia.

She's not perfect because she's teaching me the value of perfection, HONESTY and HARD WORK.

Seesmic launches mobile apps for Android and BlackBerry, but not iPhone

Seesmic has brought its Twitter client to the mobile arena as well with the launch of clients for the Android and BlackBerry platforms. Both apps are available for free
Excerpt from Mashable.

This is great. An alternative to UberTwitter for my BlackBerry, though native RIM application for Twitter that I'm waiting for. Btw, no Seesmic for iPhone?

Partitioning your hard drive: a simple note to myself

Partitioning a hard drive is helpful for both organization and speed. It also allows you to, for example, run Windows and Linux together on the same PC or, using Apple's BootCamp, run Windows and Mac OS X alongside each other.
Excerpt from Wired.com.

Simply note to myself. I used to partition all my hard drive, most often to separate the system and data. But never in my MacBook. This is a good note to start it all over again, especially when no data will be affected while partitioning my hard drive.

Chrome OS: forget the hard drive, welcome cloud storage. That if you have constant broadband connection

Chrome OS is being positioned as a solution for users' secondary machines, offering a speedy, browser-based operating system consisting of Web apps and cloud-based data storage. The focus on speed begins at the top, with boot times currently clocking in at approximately 7 seconds

So, everyone is moving to the cloud.

Prepaid BlackBerry Plan: key success for BlackBerry penetration in Indonesia

T-Mobile Complete package is a pre-packaged no-annual contract pre-paid plan for BlackBerrys with 4 phones to choose from (1 available now) starting at $59.99 which includes the first month free. There are a couple unlimited plans starting from $50/month.

This is gonna be first BlackBerry prepaid plan in US. Indonesia was the first country to implement prepaid plan and proven to be highly effective as a way to penetrate the market and increase BlackBerry market share in Indonesia. Could this implementation in US be as effective as in Indonesia?

Yahoo Go is a no go, yet I don't mind

Yahoo! Go will be discontinued on January 12, 2010, at 12:00 a.m. PST, so that we may focus on simplifying and enhancing your future mobile Web experiences. After this date, you will no longer be able to use Yahoo! Go 2.0 or 3.0 from your mobile phone.

Excerpt from TechCrunch

I have a quick question, "Is there anyone out there, BlackBerry users, still using the bloated Yahoo! Go?"

Indonesia score improves in corruption-perception index

Indonesia’s corruption-perceptions index score increased to 2.8 this year from 2.6 last year, according to data from Transparency International Indonesia.

The new score moved Indonesia to 111th position among 180 countries polled worldwide, up from 126th place last year.

Excerpt from The Jakarta Post.

I am just wondering whether the evaluation was being held before of after the KPK and Polri case. Nevertheless, I believe that there is hope for Indonesia. We can start from good and clean governance as role model to society.

Autonomous Cars will make us safer

Safety regulators are beginning to realize that safety technology designed to minimize injuries, like the ever increasing number of airbags, isn’t paying the dividends it once did. When several tons of vehicle smash together there is only so much energy than can be absorbed, but collision avoidance technologies like electronic stability control are proving to save more lives than any technology since the seatbelt. That’s why automakers like Mercedes-Benz are developing “crash-proof” cars and big players like GM, Volvo and Volkswagen say autonomous cars are just over the horizon.
Excerpt from wired.com.

Substandard action, that is people/person, is the major cause of accident. 98% of accident cause is actually substandard action. In this matter, behavior based safety is much more important to prevent accident.
